G-shock watches are known to produce some of the toughest, most durable military and tactical digital watches in the world, designed to take an extreme amount of abuse. Most seals were issued either the dw5600 or dw6600, two of the four g-shock models to have been awarded an nsn or nato stock number, making the watches readily available through military supply channels. Today, the other two nsn g-shock models are some of the watches most commonly issued to and used by seals.
