Anchorage Capital Partners announced it has completed its acquisition of David Jones. The equity firm announced the acquisition in December last year following over six months of engagement from Anchorage Capital Partners to acquire the company from South Africa’s Woolworths Holdings Limited. Anchorage acquired David Jones in 2022 from Woolworths Holdings, the South African retailer which also owns Country Road Group. It does not publicise its accounts, but filings with the corporate regulator show the company slid to a $74. June 29.
