Welcome to Amazfit, a leading global smart wearables brand owned by Zepp Health (NYSE: ZEPP), a health technology company dedicated to serving wellness and fitness communities worldwide. Since 2015, we have been designing smartwatches to complement every lifestyle. The Amazfit brand was founded in 2015 as a part of Huami, a well-known manufacturer of wearable technology and a part of the Xiaomi ecosystem.In august 2016, zepp health predecessor huami, a spinoff from chinese multinational electronics company xiaomi, introduced the first amazfit smartwatch. In april 2017, huami launched the amazfit health band.In August 2016, Zepp Health predecessor Huami, a spinoff from Chinese multinational electronics company Xiaomi, introduced the first Amazfit smartwatch. In April 2017, Huami launched the Amazfit Health Band. In 2018, the company began selling its Amazfit Bip, a budget smartwatch.The interesting thing about the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 and the Amazfit Band 5 is that they’re made by the same company. While Huami owns Amazfit, it also has a manufacturing partnership with Xiaomi – and that means there can be crossover from what we see from the two (separate) companies.
