Can G-SHOCK connect to a phone?
Connected. This is the basic application for connecting and communicating with a Bluetooth® SMART enabled G-SHOCK. Pairing the watch with your smartphone enables use of a variety of different Mobile Link functions that greatly enhance the smartphone experience. You need to enable Bluetooth for features such as incoming calls, app notification alerts on your phone, phone finder, watch finder, and music control for your phone, since the phone needs to promptly transmit information to the watch. These features can be used only when your watch is connected to your phone.Make sure Bluetooth is turned on both on your phone and your smart watch. Keep the devices close together, ideally within one meter during pairing. Ensure Airplane Mode is turned off on both devices. Check that your watch is compatible with your phone’s operating system version.On your smartwatch, navigate to the Settings → Connectivity menu to confirm Bluetooth is active. How to activate Bluetooth g-shock?
On the top menu, tap [Discover G-SHOCK]. If the top menu does not appear, tap in the upper left corner of the display. Enable Bluetooth on the new watch you want to pair with.
