Do you need WiFi for smart watches?
Most smartwatches connect to the internet in one of three ways: through a paired smartphone via Bluetooth, through WiFi, or through built-in cellular connectivity. Bluetooth is the most basic and common method. Power on the Bluetooth smartwatch and follow the on-screen setup instructions. Pair it with your smartphone using Bluetooth or a dedicated app. Sync your calendar, contacts, and notifications to stay up to date. To stay connected to your phone, turn on and connect to Wi-Fi on your watch. Not all watches can connect to Wi-Fi. Try turning on Wi-Fi on your watch. General steps on the watch Open Settings, then find General or System. Choose Reset or Erase All Content and Settings, confirm with your passcode, and keep the watch on its charger. After wiping, the watch restarts and shows the pairing screen.Certain settings needs to be on or off in order for pairing to work. Open your Settings app. Make sure Airplane Mode is turned off and that you’re connected to a stable Wi-Fi network to avoid any connectivity issues. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on, and see if it gives you the option of pairing with your Apple Watch.
