Newer Samsung watches with Wear OS are not compatible with iOS. If you have a compatible watch, you will need to download Galaxy Wearable for your device from the App Store. Galaxy Watch (2018 model), Galaxy Watch Active, and Galaxy Watch Active2: iPhones (iPhone5 or later) that have iOS 9 and above are compatible. Non-Samsung phones running Android can also connect to Galaxy Watch and Gear. For the best results, make sure your device has the latest software, and be sure to get the Galaxy Wearable app from the Play Store.Send a message using Samsung Messages. This function is only available when connected to a Galaxy phone using Bluetooth. The phone must be nearby and connected to the Galaxy watch. This is not available on non-Samsung phones or iOS devices.

Why won’t my watch connect back to my phone?

Try the below steps to reconnect; Ensure your watch is close to your phone and in range. Open Control Centre and make sure that Airplane Mode is off and that WiFi and Bluetooth are on. If they are not on, make sure they are now on or if the phone is in Airplane Mode, turn this mode off. Restart your Watch and iPhone. Turn on Share system notifications via the phone’s Bluetooth settings. On your iPhone, navigate to and open Settings, and then tap Bluetooth. Under the MY DEVICES section, tap the info icon next to the watch and make sure the Share System Notifications switch is turned on.
